To elaborate on the question: Citizens and sanitation workers would use these devices to scan for anything not meant to be thrown out- * Guns * Body parts * Wedding rings * Art masterpieces * Keys * Money * Wallets * Birth Certificates * Social Security Cards * And anything else most people would not want to throw away that are sometimes thrown away by accident (or to hide a crime.)

Make it an option for prisoners for an early release. "SCAN TRASH GET OUT IN A DASH" or something..maybe..I think...good.

Hopefully they won't, I find it rather invasive that anyone is going through my trash, much less "scanning" it. I want my private things to remain just that, PRIVATE!
