I think Level 10. The average is pulled down by users who open an account on a certain day and leave on that day too. I call them "one night stand baggers" (check out my definition in Kevin's glossary question).

Missing in action? 1) Many people just have a look and don't stay long. If you only consider the people who are one the leaderboard, you need at least level 14 and 1572 points at the moment to get there. So many people will stay some time and realize how difficult it is to get those 1572 points (this quantity is growing every week). Maybe a 2,000 best list would be better, it would be easier to get there. 2) Once you get in the all time most points Leaderboard, it can be a motivation to see your ranking progress. And getting higher levels is also nice. But particularly interesting is the fact that you can give more points. (as I choose not to give negative ratings, I ignore the changes in the number of negative points to give). However, since I reached about level 50 or less, it seems that I don't get more points to give. I can give 6 points on answers and 5 points on questions. I don't remember receiving 7 points on an answer or 6 points on a question. For this reason, I suppose some people over level 50 could lose their motivation.
