  • Your probation officer, as you know, is your watchdog, until your probation is over. transferring you to another county may make a hardship and may be illegal. transferring to another county, may mean a different probation officer. and, depending on the wording of your court-ordered probation, you legally may not be able to move to another county. your probation officer may say he is unwilling, but whatever was ordered in court, for your probation period, is what stands. just think, if you had not violated the law, you would not be asking this question. right?
