Backhand, forehand, or both? You should try, as much as possible, to hit shots on your forehand. Practicing your footwork will immensely help this.
We are doing that in P.e what we had to do was break all the steps down into subroutines!
we had the
preperation phase
execution phase
contact
and follow through!
and what we did was got recorded playing and got pictures of every subroutine and compared it to a ideal image of a professional player in each of those players!
and worked on what we needed to learn! :)

You must practice this shot because the shuttle is usually sent over to the backhand side forcing you to the back court. When running to the back court your back is facing the net,and you dont have time to swing the shoulder into the shot. To make a good overhead clear you must add a wristy flick shot.

So I use two hands on my backhand swing for Badminton. I play tennis so its just sort of natural. Is this a bad thing? What are the pros and cons?
