Your computer should have come with a disc necessary to reinstall your operating system. You will need to boot to this cd. You do this by placing your installation cd in the cd drive and restarting the computer. By default the computer should be configured to boot to the cd drive. When doing so, the computer will open the operating system installation program. When you choose to install the program the hard drive will be reformatted and all data will be lost so it is important that you back up any data that you wish to save prior to installing the operating system. You can later load the data back to your reformatted hard drive.
