What age were you ready to settle down at?

I was 23 at the time. If I had to do it all over again I would have waited a bit longer and enjoyed my youth in a different manor.

Settled down to what? I don't know that I'm yet ready to "settle down", depending upon what you mean by it.

18 years and i did.

I was married at 24 and had a baby at 25. That worked out very well for all of us.

I don't believe in settling down at any age. I'm happy for life to keep on changing and developing and going off in different directions - that's what makes it interesting. And if I ever meet someone I want to spend the rest of my life with then I'd want to share a life that keeps moving and changing and is unpredictable and crazy and lots of fun. Happy endings are over-rated - happy beginnings and middles are much nicer.

I was around age 6, i believed there was no other woman for me but my mother. lol...oh how things have changed.

i think i've reached the point now. i'm 27, have been all over the place since i was 17, working and travelling. its been very fun and i've had some awesome experiences. Now however, i'm just tired. everyone comes to a point where too much of one thing, (even if that one thing is remaining unsettled) gets boring. the thought of meeting yet more people who you know for only 6 months or trying to get settled in a place knowing that you're going to have to move on in the not-too-far-away future is just tiring.

By age 20, I was involved in a relationship that was at least 2 years in duration. Still, the one that I choose that chooses me eludes me. *sighs loudly*

Haha... I'm 19 and perfectly ready. Everyone is telling me I should enjoy my youth first, but I've found the man I love more than anything in the world, and I can't find a reason to not settle down! I've done all I want to do before I settle down! I've found something more valuable than clubbing and having no commitments! xxx

When you find a partner you love over a long period of time, do it! know them for 6 years, give it a try! no doubts, just love. no matter age, could be 11 or 91, youre never too young/old to get married! use condoms!
