Ours used to scream for snacks every time the refrigerator door was opened. Pavlov's conditioning, I guess. Just take the bell out at night.

You're reading Does anyone else have guinea pigs as annoying as ours? The little buggers ring their bell all night long! And the mom rings it when she is mad at me! And their water bottle! It's so noisy and they have to constantly fiddle with it. :-) But we love them!!!

We do really love them, we get annoyed at night when trying to sleep. Otherwise we don't mind. The reason I asked the question was because they were sitting here playing with the water bottle. I just wanted to have a good laugh with other guinea pig owners who knew what I was talking about. We love our piggies otherwise we wouldn't have sobbed over the one who just dies recently! Sorry to have rubbed you the wrong way.

I was gonna say....it's the same thing as family, you love them but boy do they get annoying!! Actually I think family may be worse than the piggies!! At least the piggies can't talk! LoL!! Well, speaking of piggies, better go see what they just did (loud noises in cage scares me!)! Have a great day/night/whatever it is!
