  • Hi Ray. Instead of listing a bunch of numbers to your "how many atoms" questions, I'll tell you how to figure them out yourself. THey are easy. This guy avagadro figured ou there were 6.02 x10 ^ 23 atoms in one mole of stuff. That is 60221415000000000000000 atoms in one mole. So if you have 1 mole of carbon atom for instance you have 6.02x10^23 atoms of carbon. If you have 2 moles of carbon, you have twice that many atoms. (6.02x10^23 x 2) = x (i don't have my calculator handy) If you need to go from grams or any weight to the number of atoms, look up the molecular weight of the compound and multiply that by your weight to get moles, and then by avagadros number to get atoms.
