Does it matter to search engine rankings what kind of doctype you use? (e.g. HTML 4 Strict, XHTML Transitional, HTML Frameset, etc)

    From my experience, no. These tags are simply ignored when it comes to ranking. These tags are only there to help browsers display the page correctly.
