Do you ever just not answer a question simply because the answer is so obvious, or the question is so stupid you just don't have the patience to even rate it?

I am moved by impulses that come from some deep part of my mind set against the environment. Some association creates a pattern of connections that just make me do it (answer, whatever). I don't understand my own motives. I'm human.

(That's a yes, but not this time.)

I would try to answer the question to the best of my knowledge and sincerity even if the answer is obvious. I always believe, that nobody will take the pain to ask a question if he/she knew the answer.

I usually see those questions as a perfect opportunity to be as sarcastic as possible.

I've seen a lot of questions that answered themselves, where the person was just seeking assurance. I've also seen plenty of questions that weren't really "questions," but soapboxes for people to pronounce their views or opinions, hoping for either like-minded people to join in or opposing views to argue with.
