I love them. He has a way of grabbing your attention and keeping it throughout the book. The truth is never hidden except for in plain sight. His endings are perfect.

I have liked them less as time has gone on. And I don't mean that in the way of like, I liked each new book less, I mean it like, I used to really love all of them collectively and then over time I lost that feeling.

- anyone care to explain why they would give this perfectly good response a negative point rating? is it because you are angry that someone doesn't like the same things as you? if so, that is completely retarded.
  
  arguing or disliking someone over anything such as books, movies, etc. is a completely pointless and retarded thing to do. everyone had different taste. you should grow up and get over it.

I would say that Chuck Palahniuk is easily one of my favorite modern (i.e. still alive) authors. Chuck has this uncanny ability to take characters who in real life I think most of us would at best feel sorry for if not be absolutely disgusted by them and make you root for them. before I read Chuck, I always considered a book a good one if it had at least a couple of scenes, characters or ideas that just blew you away. Somehow, at least in his better novels, Palahniuk pulls this off about every few pages. I don't love all his books, but the ones that I do love I've read at least 4 times a piece.

I love Chuck's books. I didn't pick one up until this past summer and I ended up reading 3. Choke, Fight Club and Haunted. I went to work full time and then school started back so I haven't been reading but I'm definitely picking more up for Christmas and going to be reading more.

I like them, he's my favorite author.
I like how satirical they are, Chuck Palahniuk as a satire novelist is right up there with Kurt Vonnegut jr. in my mind.
