Hitachi 70" ultravision projection manufactured 9/98, last night played no problem, this morning NO POWER, checked outlet, & fuse, any thoughts? thanks!

    Unplug it for about 15 mins and plug it back in. sometimes this will reset and return to normal operation.

    Check the 8 green diagnostic leds on the main motherboard.If any are off that indicates the circuit area where the problem lies.You can get a schematic with a trouble shooting flow chart off the net for about 5 bucks BUT beware even unplugged for days there are components like capacitors that carry a lethal charge of electricity.YOU CAN BE KILLED!!! Suggest letting a tv serviceman check it out,He should be able to repair it for 200 to 300 bucks.
