How do u determine what cells undergo mitosis and meiosis

You determine that by the type of cell it is. Germ cells (which are basically reproductive cells, ie sperm & eggs) undergo meiosis. Somatic cells (which nearly all the cells in your body are, which are the ones that form the body of an organism) undergo mitosis. Somatic cells in people are essentially the cells that make up your body, and its systems/organs.
