    First of all, I would like to say this is a difficult question. I would normally answer this question as you want me to answer. But I think other Abers are the ones to answer this question. How much do I contribute to Answerbag?

    I would say 2-3 (but lately only 1 as a maximun as I have been really busy).

    Compared to others... maybe a 3 possibly a 4. I like to play alot and that isn't really contributing. When I see someone I may be able to help, I do try.

    More quality than most, less quantity than most. If we assume for argument's sake that answers here are binomially distributed with a mean of 5.5 (they might not be because people will over/underestimate their contributions, but it keeps things simple as a base), then I'd say I'm a 3 on quantity and a 8.5 on quality. If we then assume that quality is worth twice as much as quantity (seems a fair enough assumption, although most people post vast amounts of junk so maybe they would disagree), then take a weighted average, then I'm a 6 2/3 out of 10.

    I give everyone who participates in sharing their views a 10. Although I may disagree with some statements made here, No ones opinion is more valid than others. Everyones contribution is valuble in making this site what it is. An open and free debate on issues.

    I have no idea, I suppose it would really be up to others to say. I suppose i contribute as much as average although I was missing two days last week.

    1) I have given a lot of answers (rank 13 on the all time most answers leaderboard).

    However, I have only 97% positive ratings on my answers, so I am not listed on the all time "Members with the best answers" leaderboard.


    2) I would suggest the following formula:
    contribution = (1000 -rank) /100
    (take rank = 1000 for rank>1000)

    all time rank: 57
    all time contribution: (1000 -57) /100 = 9.43

    last week rank: 122
    last week contribution: (1000 -122) /100 = 8.78
