Help answer this question below.

I have a D-Link Usb adapter in the back of my computer and I'm trying to get online on ps2. Ther are no slots in the back of the D-Limk for my ethernet cord. Can I just put the ethernet cord in the computer or do I need to get a new D-Link with slots?
