    I don't really travel on the bus, but when I have to I like to sit by myself. This is as result of having chosen my seat badly (on more than one occasion), and having had to sit next to someone with a hygiene problem!

    I sit by myself. I am in a wheelchair and so bring my own seat with me which I don't share with others.

    I prefer to sit near the front, so that's how I would choose, not if someone is there.

    If you mean a school bus where there are friends, I would try to find a friend to sit with.

    On a city bus, they are all strangers, which is why I almost never ride the bus.
