The Armenian Genocide started in 1915 it was when Turkey arrested 250 important Armenians and it resulted in the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Armenians, I believe something like over a million between 1915 and 1918. I really will have to look up my facts as it has been a long time since I learned this.

I know of it. It was a situation that started in 1915 when the Ottoman Turks accused the Armenian people in its territories of colluding with enemies of the Ottoman Empire. They then began a program of harassment and deportation against the Armenians, which quickly moved on to massacres and other physical and cultural atrocities.

one too many times. i went to high school with many armenians, i believe that at least half of the students there were armenian. yes i do.
