Yes it is possible. I know of only one example, and its not pretty. When I was in university, I knew a guy who vomited in his sleep and choked on the vomit and sadly, passed away. This guy was drunk, and I'm not sure to what extent, but certainly to the extent that his vomiting did not arouse him from his sleep.

I think it's possible to do many things in your sleep. I know people (who've been drinking) that have vommitted then peed while asleep. My hubby also has full conversations with me while he's sleeping. They usually don't make sense, but he asks me questions and replies to my questions.

yea that happened to me when i saw a cockroach in my dream and i felt like vomitting then i was about to vomit i got up well i am very scared of cockroaches..lol

Yes, this just happened to me last night. I am college student who needs 8 to 9 hours of sleep, and I'm only receiving 4 to 5. This is just some crazy assumption here, but due to lack of sleep (and I'm a deep sleeper anyways), this is the reason as to why I did not awake when the vomiting occurred. SO... This may or may not help you with the reasoning or curiosity behind your question.... but at least I answered your question.
