I plan on installing Linux and upgrading the hard drive. How large can the hard drive be?

    Well, the earlier kernels had a 137GB limit, but if you use the latest Xecuter kernel, you have basically no limit. I personally use x2_4983.67 and a 160GB Seagate. You just need a chip or a tsop hack ***(or a software hack with a locking drive [not recommended]), and switch the harddrives, format them with the commands:

    FormatPath /Device/Harddisk0/Partition1
    FormatDrive (The key you got from the first command)

    do that for partition 1,2,6,and 7 if your HDD >137

    then FTP over a dash and your files, and your done!

    afterwards, just install a Xebian, or GentooX, or any other Xbox-Based distribution, and you're good.
