Survive? Yes, I suppose so. Would I be happy? Nooooo!
-
no, :( my entire Business is online, Custom making PCs.
-
Well, if I had no choice, I would of course survive. Not commit suicide over it. Fortunately, I have some of your phone numbers, so I would call you up and find out what's going on? I am Curious about you, after all!
-
Might even gain a pound or two.
-
Yes. I had to do it before when I was on a cruise. And not a whole lot changed during that week.
-
ummm . . . millions do it every day, especially in impoverished countries. And billions and billions did it in the eons past. So I reckon it wouldn't be fatal for anyone to go a week (or a month . . . or a year) without the internet. But for many Americans, it would leave them twiddling their thumbs (or other parts of their bodies) until they found something else to entertain themselves with.
-
Absolutely! I go on holiday for 3 weeks and have no internet.
-
Yeah ~ easy as :)
-
I recently survived a week without power, heat, or running water. FYI, heat comes in REAL handy when the outside temp is in the low single digits. Granted, I was miserable without 'net access, but I was MORE miserable that it was 33 degrees in my house. From what I heard, the power was out another six days after I moved cross-country. Ever try to pack a house in the dark when your fingers can barely move?

Only if I was on vacation from work. Many of our applications are web based. I wouldn't miss it outside of work, wouldn't bother me at all.
-
I've done it well...for almost a week when I went on a cruise last summer. No internet, no phone, nothing for a week, but if I had my phone, and no internet. I think I'd be good.
-
I could live without it, but id rather not.
-
of course
-
No way. The longest I ever went was 4 days.
-
I did in the hospital. I had no choice but I almost went crazy too. I came home to over 5000 emails (95% of them junk).
-
it would be hard i need it for work
-
Yeah, I've gone months before.
-
Yeah I just did so over a week ago. My internet was down for a week or so.
-
Definately. I do a lot of camping and things of that sort, and I spent two weeks treking through the mountains in New Mexico last summer.
-
I go without the internet for two weeks a year when I go on vacation.. other than that, I usually only go a day or two.
-
Yeah I expect so. It's not exactly like water.
-
Yes, but I'd probably go into withdrawal! :-)
-
The world would stop without my daily content fix. I could not operate a business for a week. Drop me on an island sounds like a good idea.
-
Yes, and I usually do this every year during my vacation.
-
I suppose, but knowing that I'd have a week's worth of emails waiting would make it tougher. lol.

I don't think so. Maybe I have, when there was some problem in my motherboard. But I remember, when the benazir incident happened, people burned down all the phone offices but we connected some wire to my wireless'es antenna and threw it on the roaf and it was workin slowly. I didn't know what to do. I felt like running away to a place where there could be internet. But the reason could also be because, where I live, I usually don't go out very much and mostly sit at my pc. That's the most fun thing I can do here.
