Why do some comments which are under the character limit not post in AB? It is very frustrating.

Simply because they ARE under the character limit. I agree that this is frustrating, but AB must have a reason for this limit.

- but.. there is a 1000 character limit.. I post over 500 and it freezes.. it says "POSTING COMMENT" but 10 minutes later it is still not working..

Why does AB limit your comments to 1000 characters, then not allow the actual posting? It almost seems there's a limit to blank or short lines, or carriage returns or... I've lost at least 5 long comments in the last week (and yes... needed to be long)

In my case I can't post comments, approve/deny, go to most of the links on AB, etc. because my computer is retarded. I usually have to post comments in and answer by posting an answer and then my (off subject) bit comes in. How can I fix this?
