  • Practice, practice, practice. (It also helps if you're strong, fast, coordinated, court-smart, and committed.)
  • what the other guy wrote about practice and being generally good is true-but the real truth is being noticed and being at the right place at the right time
  • I'm not sure if there is a legal age requirement that needs to be met before you can be drafted, although I think I remember the NBA creating one a few years back, but technically anyone can be drafted or play for the NBA. Going to college is not a requirement by any means to become an NBA player. LeBron James is basically good enough to play in the NBA without any college experience. In Europe there are players who play professionally from age 15 or so, they're that good!
  • You have to be real good and practice alot especially for the nba to take you past college right to the pros
  • YOU HAVE TO BE OVER 15 BUT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL THE LOCAL SCOUT AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A TRIAL. SOMETIMES YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY OR NOT. IT DEPENDS. YOU CAN LOOK 4 SCOUTS IN THE NEWSPAPER
