Last summer. It was my first to stay at home with the kids. We had a blast.

As a grownup I'd say it was the summer we spent traveling all over British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territories. Awesome trip!!! But as a kid I would spend the whole summers riding my horse everywhere, leaving the house early with saddlebags full of food and supplies and just ride and ride and be home by dark. I think those summers when I was 12-13 were the best. Then the next year I loved and met my husband to be so I didn't wander off for whole days. I tended to stay closer to home:-)

I can't pick just one. When I was growing up I spent most summer's at my grand parents lake cottage. I always looked forward to it, and had a great time.
