Can you get a hunter gun in Halo 2? If so, how?

    You cant get anything the hunter weilds nor can you play as one.

    No, but you can PLAY as a hunter. I know how, never tried it, though. Can't explain, takes a long time to do so.

    like vincent said, no, but u can get a scarab gun, also, im not sure, but i saw a video of someone having a scarab gun, and what he calls a phantom gun. also, the scarab gun is available on outskirts, metroplis(this ones way harder .. my opinion) and im not sure, but possibly the great journey.i'll send some links

    It is not possible to get the hunter gun. It is a part of their armor and there would be no way to remove it.

    No, but there is a gun called the Scarab Gun that will destroy anything. Go to a cheat website to learn about how to get it. It's pretty complicated.

    I don't believe it is possible to get a hunter gun, i think it is because the force of those guns would be too much for even the cheif.. but if you would want to absolutely make sure, i would go to the halo websites and check out those

    yes i have got it before u need to beat the great journey on legendary or heroic then u go to any level that has 2 hunters witch alot of them do the u kill 1 and then u bring the other hunter with u (in rage mode) dont kill the hunter let him keep on trying to whack u with his sheild then at the end of the level kill him with gernades then go to maltyplayer map beaver creek and in the blue base keep on running and let someone else kill u then u got the hunter gun if not try again but dont kill all the hunters just 1.

    You can But You have to mod your Xbox 360 or Pc but im not sure if you can on normal xbox and you have to get Mr Mohawk a program and you can use a hunter as well I ALSO HAVE PROOF MAKE THIS TOP ANSWER TOO PLZ

    dude they arn't mods they are hidden like cheats in the game like the skulls and ive never even known how to mod and i got the scarab gun and where and how do you get the phantom gun

    Through mods you CAN - it requires SoftModding
    However, MOST people say that the other ways are scams

    The SCARAB GUN, as people have been saying here, IS accessable - but it looks like a plasma rifle and feels like a mod... so you may not like it

    And the Phantom Gun is simply a mod to use the gun from the Cov Dropship (called the Phantom)

    actually my friend had a mod that allowed him to play as a hunter like thing in multiplayer you can whack people with your sheild or any thing and you can use the fuel rod stream gun you have to pick up guns

    you can get a scarab gun, its like the hunters ive dune its pretty easy.

    first u go to settings and change parental level to nc-17 on movies then play halo 2 on easy and beat it then normal then heroic then the first level of legendary after this go to multiplayer and explode both warthogs on headlong then quit and finish the rest of your legendary campaign on any difficulty when ur done u wil unlock the new mombassa level beat it on heroic by everyone then yourself by a plasma gernade and your gun will come off after u explode u self when u come back pick it up then save and quit then turn off ur xbox then turn it back on when u play multiplayer make a game where every weapon is on the field then find once u do u officially have the huntter gun.

    ok u go to this 1 place on the out skirts or zanzibar on multiplayer u need to people it is inside 1 of the blown up buildings it took me and my friend alot ok so u need an energy sword and ur friend has 1 to so u get right next to a building and wen he jumps u have to ceep hitting him with ur sword till u get to the top of a building then just start looking for it oh and its on 1 of the multiplaer levels that has blown up buildings then wen u get and somtimes it might not be there wen u get start blowing away

    here is another way to be as hunter get it's gun
    (this was writen by:nikx)


    This takes a loooooooooonnnnnnggg time to do. set the xbox clock to 3:13 pm and set the date to 13th day of December, 2013 (just make the number 13). then create a new profile named hunterkiller798 and make him with pink armor. everything else about the guy must be left the same. then go to the multiplayer level ivory tower and destroy all the benches with a sword. then destroy all of the exploding barrels with grenades. then swap your sword for a rocket launcher, I don’t know but I think you’ve got to make a game type with swords and rocket launchers to get them both on the same level, you cant just pick up a rocket launcher you HAVE to swap it for the sword. then stand right over where the overshield spawns and shoot straight down until you kill yourself. when you respawn, exit the game. then go to settings and create a slayer game variant called hunters leave all the settings the same, but make the starting weapon an energy sword, and the heavy vehicle a wraith. then play hunters on headlong and shoot warthog ad with the wraith five times. then get out of the wraith, and kill yourself by hitting an exploding barrel with your starting sword. it must be your starting sword. when you respawn, leave the game. now go to the campaign and play through on any difficulty until you reach the level outskirts. it’s the fourth level. the game starts the level immediately, so exit as soon as it starts up. if you don’t, everything you've done will be ruined. okay, now play outskirts on legendary. after master chief gets his focus back, run through the first two doors, killing the first grunt with a melee attack. if he gets outside before you kill him, start the level over and try again. now, when you're outside, run all the way to the right, take a quarter turn to the left so you facing some jackals and run along the wall until the first door to the left. if you die at all during the level, you MUST start over. go through the door and if you turn to the left you will see a dirt mound against a wall. stand on it and crouch jump until you reach the top of the wall (it may take a few tries). then jump to the ledge on the other side of the wall as you when you jumped up (what the heck, just go forward to the edge and crouch jump forward) when you're up there, keep jumping around the roofs until you fin a big sign that says hotel zanzibar. jump down, kill everything (including the marines) and go through the hotel. now just play through the level like normal, but if you die at all you must start over. when the next level comes, play through it like normal but still don’t die and don’t use the tank. then finish the whole campaign like normal on any difficulty after the ending you will have unlocked a new level: hunter. the level description says: the hunters are on a rampage! you get to play as a hunter, roaming endlessly around the city from the New Mombassa levels. you get to kill marines, covenent, brutes, all the vehicles, but no flood. it is ssooooooo awsome.
