Help answer this question below.

I have a new receiver with a preamp output, high volume, and I want to feed that into my power amp. Do I need to regulate the signal into my amp with a preamp?

You may have a few more words in your question than what I am going to answer..... If your new reciever has "preamp" outputs, then they would hook up to an amplifier.

What you said about "high volume" shouldn't be anywhere near the "preamp" outputs label. Do you mean "high impedance"? Or maybe even "high level"?
