All the magic in the universe can be found in science, backed up with testable experiments and math. No one can walk through walls or put a curse on you. Who ever tested that and backed it up with an equation? But planets can orbit stars and stars can disapear.

If it did, it wouldn't be magic.

Anything that is real, no matter how magical it seems, falls under the heading of science.

i dont think we'll ever know if magic is real or not, a long time ago there were societies that were said to practice magic, but after dozens of kings ordered to have books burned in the name of his kingdom, they could be lost forever, i dunno, if there is magic, it would be very difficult for humans to relearn it after being so sensitised to our modern ways, hopefully we havent exhausted ALL the earths gifts yet.

"Magic" is all smoke and mirrors, as they say. That's why they refer to it as a 'Magic trick', because its not real, it tricks you into thinking its something its not.

I love the study of magic, because it gives great insight to man's desire to understand the world around him.

Think of the incredible logic of associative magic. Without even knowing about DNA, early man recons that if you possesses enough essence of an animal you will gain traits of the animal. It’s brilliant! Even now, scientists study the cell changes of other creatures in hope it will give clues for cure in men.

Anyway, I’m sorry if you just wanted to know if warlocks could change into wolves. I’ve never met one that can do anything “ in the open”. It mostly seems like a power game used to control others by their fear.

But LIFE! Ah, there is the real magic.

As they say, depends on who is doing it....and what they are trying to achieve, if they are trying to trick you..and they succeed then it works.....
even if it just a trick.

If they are trying to fly and it does not work...not trying to fool you in to believing they are flying, actually flying/levitating, but they do not get it right, it does not work...even if it looks like they are...but it is only a trick... then it is not working.

An illusionists magic will work if he can trick you,
a wizard/witch 's magick will work if there spells does what they are intendid to do.

If you're talking about performances by magicians, magic is really the manipulation of naturally occurring phenomena in a way that isn't easily detected. It's misdirection of the observer's senses.

If you're talking about that wonderful infusion of pixie dust that makes the unexpected happen in a joyous way, sure, that's real!
