Probably false. Anodized aluminum would likely be the most widely used. Hardware like screws, bolts, nuts, brackets and such are stainless but seems SS is used to mount aluminum where aluminum has the the strengh required.
it depends on what you means by most widely.. but if you tnihk just to your kitchen.. there is a lot of stainless steel.. so... probably yes is the most used corrosion resistant alloys..
