Nothing, i was supposed to dissect a frog but i told my teacher that my beliefs don't allow me to do that to an animal so she just allowed me not to.

Thankfully nothing alive... A lamb heart, a cow's eye, and an onion. : D

For about three months, we did nothing *but* dissections every Friday. It made Biology my very favorite H.S. class ever!! Things I remember that we dissected: fetal pig dogfish shark starfish huge walking stick (bug) huge earthworm Watch out for those starfish! They have some sort of fumes that made everyone's eyes sting wicked-bad.

a worm, a clam (or it could've been an oyster, but I think it was a clam....long long time ago) and a frog.
-
Pig's heart and lungs, cow eyeballs and brains, flowers. (Yes. Flowers.)
-
A frog, A starfish, a crab, and a mouse. I had the worst partner too. He'd pick up the dead animals and make them dance while their guts were spewing out of their dissected stomachs, he'd get the thing inches from my face and cackle. It was really disturbing.
-
I never had to dissect anything. I took the "alternative" science classes like Earth Science and Astronomy to get out of taking Anatomy.
-
I am rather disappointed by the fact that I never got to dissect anything in school.
-
I refused to dissect a frog and gladly took an F for that day...

I have a story to accompany. I dissected a toad. We laid it out on the cutting board, the teacher assuring us the toads had been in the freezer for 4 days after being humanely gassed, then pinned its legs and arms out. We proceded to follow instruction, cut the skin, looked at the muscle.. put electrodes on the muscles and made the limbs jump.. cut the gut, got into the stomache, revealed the heart and lungs. This was all VERY boring so my two lab partners and I decided that a code blue was necessary and that we could save this toad. Using the electrodes as defilibrators and I would put the alligator clips on either side of the heart and we would do the whole.. 'clear' and I would shock the heart of the toad. We laughed and said how we should be doctors etc.. then on the last attempt getting bored with our antics I shocked the heart and then the heart started beating!!!! We freaked out.. the lungs filled with air and the toad made an awful sound. The teacher heard the racket and asked what was going on.. I stuttered.. "Its a-a-live!" He came screaming over with a pair of scissors raised above his head and slammed it down through the head of the toad. Being 13.. I was aghast.. shocked. I had never killed anything.. let alone brought something back to life then to see it stabbed to death by my insane teacher. Just before that I had visions of stitching Terrance (the name on his grave) back up and taking him on the talk show circuit, which were all dashed by the maniac weilding the scissors of death. It was a harrowing experience.. I should have been given a medal.. at least encouraged into medicine.. instead I got a week's detention.

Nothing. It isn't my thing.

A frog. I really pitied him. =(

It was a frog. We (lucky for me) did this project in pairs, so I was able to let my more than enthusiastic 'lab partner' do the job. ugh.
-
worm, fish, frog, and pig. Well, to be honest my lab partner did the cutting and I wrote the reports. YUCK!!
-
i refused to dissect the pigs fetus, the frog and whatever else there was. luckily my teacher was an open minded man and i had to write an essay about animal cruelty & experimentation instead.

I dissected a rat in 10th grade advanced Biology, and a fetal pig in 12th grade Anatomy. My "Lab Partners" in Anatomy were a couple of trampy fake chicks with footlong fingernails and fake tits already in High School. Needless to say all THEY did was complain about the smell of the formaldehyde. 'S okay, though, I enjoyed doing it myself. Teach even used MY pig as the example for the final exam a week later. I was the only one able to remove the membrane from the brain without damaging the brain tissue. ^_^ Rah, me!
