  • As they say, "we are our worst critic." It happens to me too. But I try to focus more on my strengths, and work on my weaknesses.
  • Perhaps you have been conditioned to do this by those around you as a child. I was similar. I found a great Christian counsellor and worked through it. Now I feel much better about myself.
  • You are conditioning yourself to feel like that. If you want to change, you can begin by changing your nickname to "Hyper is feeling GREAT!"
  • I'm exactly the same as you. I just get on with it and hope it's just a 5 year long phase...not been a good idea, so far, i'm just getting worse. See a doctor or psychiatrist if you feel comfortable talking to either =] x
  • It is a mental thing, if you start doing the opposite and always compliment yourself you will build stronger self esteem and change it for the better. Be positive and empower yourself.
  • Messing up is fine, it's how we learn. Thomas Edison didn't make a light bulb his first try, Einstein didn't figure out that E=MC2 in a day, and the Wright brothers weren't flying on their first day. So don't worry so much about it. Messing things up is part of life. :) As for the way you think of yourself, it really depends on how bad it is as to what kind of help you should seek. You should try just thinking positive first. Try to think of positive things all day for a week and see how you feel. There's good in every bad believe it or not, you just have to find it. If that doesn't work, try some therapy. Therapists are good at giving a guiding hand in the right direction. Good luck!
