In Ohio it is illegal to posess a deady weapon under disability(a felon, ect.) Does that include a compound bow for hunting puposes, or just guns and explosives?

I don't know Ohio's exact definition, but deadly weapon can be generally defined as any item that is used in such a way as to inflict serious bodily harm or death. This definition is flexible and can be used to cover obvious weapons, like knives, and not-so-obvious ones, like cars or whole frozen trout. Using the above definition, a bow and arrow counts as a deadly weapon.
