  • If you are referring to tropical fish...yes &no. If you introduce fish from a bag of warm water 75f into a tank that the temperature is much lower..some fish will survive and some will not. But if you mean by a electricity failure and the water temp lowers..then some will not survive the shock.
  • fish are cold blooded, and that is pretty good since the water temperature in a particular enviornment seldom changes dramaticly. but when it does happen, a fish in the wild will either migrate, go into a "slumber" where they will sit at a point and not eat until the temp changes, or it will die. most fish can survive a temperature change around 10-12 degrees, IF THIER LUCKY, and unless thier very young.
