Help answer this question below.

I have to read a poem at my schools Veterans day assembly, but i am sick and losing my voice. do you have any tips on how i could keep my voice as normal sounding as possible until Friday?

    hot water, honey and lemon juice. drink multiple times a day. always helps me.

    The best suggestion I can make is to drink a lot of water to keep your throat from growing parched (As throats so often tend to do when one is sick).

    And when you are up on stage, know your limits.
    If you push yourself too hard for volume you can't deliver, not only will it probably come out sounding terrible, but you could end up hurting your throat and larynx even more.

    Other than that there's not much I can think of to do for it.
