It means your nose is itchy & you should scratch it... unless it has been itchy for a long time & you have been scratching it awhile & it has started to bleed. In this case, I would advise placing a plaster over the itchy area & scratching the plaster instead.
By the way, if you are going to scratch the offending area, you ought to make sure your fingers are clean & you don't have anything lurking under your fingernails. This is especially important if you have any other itchy areas of the body. for example, if you suffer from anal itching, you ought not to scratch your nose with the same hand. Perhaps you could get someone else to scratch your nose, or if you prefer, your anus, but under no circumstances should you scratch your nose with the same finger you scratch your arse with. Hope this helps. If you do develop an itchy arse, I understand AN.NO.ITCH comes highly recommended, especially by a large number of Americans, who appear to osuffer from itchy arses more than most.

My Grandmas always said that it meant you were going to have company. One side of your nose meant it would be male; female on the other. If it itched in the middle you were going to be visited by a couple.
Right palm itch=givng money out.
Left palm itch=receiving money.
Ringing or red ears=someone is talking about you.
There are lots more! My grandmothers were pretty interesting!

I always heard if your nose itches, someone is thinking about you, if you drop a dish towel, someone is coming to see you, if your ears burn, someone is talkin gabout you and if palm itches, you get money.

An itchy nose can also be a reaction to a dry environment. If you live or work in a dry place, try using a humidifier to remedy the situation.
