Question

Help answer this question below.

I want to change my birth control pill at the end of the pill pack that I am currently on, so I will miss my 7 day break that I would usually have and go straight on to my new pill. Am I protected for those 7 days?

Yes you are protected those 7 days. Also, you do not have to worry about skipping your menstral cycle. You can actually have only one cycle each 3 months without harming your body. So, you could skip your "reminder" pills for 2 months and only take them every 3rd month thereby avoiding having 2 or 3 menstral cycles. This is very convenient to know if you have a steady sexual life! There are pills on the market designed this way. Seasonale and Seasonique.
