  • I think working with weights is better. Resistance training using your own body weight is more convenient, allowing you to work out without any equipment, but is limited in terms of the number of exercises that you can perform, and the amount of resistance is limited to your body weight. Working with weights (free weights and weight stations) allows you to train more muscle groups and gives you more versatile training on different parts of the same muscle, and there is no limit to the amount of weight that you can lift.
