Yes, I like layaway! It would be helpful if I ever really needed it, but I guess so many people have abused that system, that its not profitable.

Yes!

No, why hold something for someone who doesn't have the money rather than sell it to someone who does? Tis why credit cards were invented ;)
-
No, personally I'd like to see them go out of business.
-
yeah i have things that need to be held till next year

It would benefit a few but it cost more than it profits.

I would like to see Wal*Mart put their stores where they put layaway. I am dead serious about this
-
Yes, for people that do pay for there purchases, it's a great service.
-
If you have to lay it away, perhaps you shouldn't buy it.
-
For those of you who say, "If you can't afford it, don't buy it..." Shame on you! One reason that our economy has collapsed is due to the credit card companies that rip people off with their enormously high interest rates. Layaway allows people to stick to a monthly budget WITHOUT using creidt cards. This allows people to be responsible. If you are encouraging them to use credit cards, you are encouraging family debt. WalMart patrons have helped WalMart become wildly successful and they are only asking for WalMart to return the favor.
