  • Painful, red, filled with pus? Possibly abcess, do sea salt soaks and wash gently, don't touch or poke at it. Or does it look like the surrounding skin, like a ring of scar tissue? Could be a hypotropic scar, treat it the same way, maybe get a jewelry change as pressure sometimes causes that. Or is it scar tissue that's getting bigger and bigger? That's a keloid, see a dermatologist for that.
  • It could be keloids or an infection. I recommend you to go to ur professional piercer or the doctors stat!
  • I had the same problem with mine. There was a red lump looking thing on the outside and on the inside of my ear. Everyone said that it was keloid scaring from the 'blunt force trama' and my body was rejecting it. I was told to go to the doctors, but i'm too stubborn to listen, and i knew they would tell me to take it out, and what was the point of having it done then??? Sooo i found this stuff in my mom's medicine cabinet, and i put it on the bumps every night and covered with a small bandaid, then in the morning washed it off with seasalt water. The salve that I put on was called Porters Salve, and my mom said it can be found sometimes in health//drug stores, but i found a website that sells it... http://www.elydrugs.biz/001.html?gclid=CM2Zy5v6-ZUCFQNfFQodwCYEEA now...the salve is pretty old, and usually used for bee stings getting the stingers out, or splinters to draw them out of the skin. I'm no doctor, but it helped me out because it drew out the pus and made my swelling go down... its worth a try.
