Two opposite reactions on one major and serious issue always creates conflict and both want everyone to think their way which isn't going to happen.

It is an individual's choice. Therefore it is fundementaly nothing more than a matter of control. How much control is an individual willing to give to another. That, is the bottom line.

Pro lifers believe that society should protect the most defenseless of its members. So they take the side of the child. Pro choicers believe that a woman should have the right to do as she wishes with her own body. [other than suicide, pedophilia, animal sex, and a few other things.] Problem is, the baby is not her body. It's a separate entity with its own individual DNA. But all they see is a clump of cells without even the potential of winning the Nobel Prize.
