What is the best way to create a personal but professional webpage to display the fine art projects of a single artist?

    Simple design, monochromatic colors, no more than two fonts used for text and graphics.
    I like SimpleViewer for creating free Flash slideshows of artwork on websites.

    There's no actual "best way" but I can point you to a site that I think captures a really good way to do it. I'm not telling you to copy what's there but I'll give you a good idea.

    If your not a graphic designer but you want a crisp and clean looking website you can use a template like they have on sites such as http://www.scorchtemplates.com or do a search for website templates on your favourite search engine (I listed that URL as I have used it in the past and it was a good service/reliable company).
    Just make sure the site is reputable and you are able to use the sources you download.
