  • Hello; The mediator will make their recomendations to the court. Usually the judge will follow rhat recomendation. If neccessary the mediator can do a child custody evaluation ( usually at an extra cost to the petitioner). If you live in the same area, try sharing weekdays. Sadly, alot of custody disputes are not about the best interest of the child, but about power and control of one parent over the other. Good luck and remember, What is going to be the best for the child!!
