My tank water was hard, so I changed about a third and now the pH is about 6.7. Should I change more water or is the pH okay now?

The biggest beginner mistake freshwater qaurists can make is worrying excessively about pH. As long as your tank is large enough, and you consistently get your water from the same source (tap water left out overnight in a container is best, maybe add some amquel or stress coat) then you have nothing to worry about. The point of water changes is to prevent nitrate buildup. Nitrates, incidently, lower your pH, not raise it, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. As for water hardness, why are you even concerned with that in a freshwater setup? Unless your water has a truly excessive amount of dissolved minerals, or you are raising extremely sensitive fish, they will usually acclimate just fine to whatever water they are put in.

Simple rule - pH doesn't usually matter as long as it is consistent.
