Negative The Catholic church will not recognize any weddings that take place out doors. They believe that since God's House is the physical Church itself, weddings must take place in it to be recognized in the eyes of God.

Yes, it is POSSIBLE. But there are rules regarding it and a bishop's permission must be given. I've always thought it odd that there's even an issue here. The mass can be celebrated ANYWHERE. It doesn't require a church. And any of the other sacraments can be celebrated/administered outside of a church building. I don't know why marriage is such a sticky issue.

A priest wouldn't do it. They will only perform a wedding mass in the Church. You can get a dispensation to have it done outside the church, but then it will not be a Catholic wedding mass.

At Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois you can get married in a mass outside. Happens every weekend

You can get marrried in a foreign country outside - my parents were married in Ireland and it was a catholic mass and they are very Catholic!

outdoors yes, non catholic chapel, dont know. One of you must be catholic first. I suggest calling the priest you want to marry you.

You can celebrate a Catholic mass almost anywhere, including in an ordinary room or even outdoors at a camping site, so I suppose it's possible. You could try asking a priest that you know and like, since they will want to avoid doing something "just to be different".
