I sure do! Especially when they post a comment as an answer, that a real easy thing to explain, and it's a mistake almost everyone has made.
I've also a=pointed out things that are in bad AB form, like scavaging for points.
I have done that. I suggested to a few new ABers to read Kyogre-Stataen's Project Answerbag posting, it's very helpful for new ABers.
Would you be the first one to apologize if you were wrong about someone?

Why do many AB newbies ask sex-related(and usually perverted)questions? Is it the fact that they are anonymous, or inherent perverseness?

You're reading Do you ever give pointers to new users that don't know how AB works?? Such as posting a comment to someone as an answer, or asking questions within someone else's similar question hoping somebody will see it there.
