  • The pill identification wizard at www.drugs.com ID'd the pill as Naproxen. This is the information that appeared on the website: Naproxen is in a class of drugs called non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Naproxen works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Naproxen is used to reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness caused by many conditions, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, injury, abdominal cramps associated with menstruation, tendinitis, and bursitis. http://www.drugs.com/mtm/naproxen.html Hope this helps.
  • I suggest you ask a pharmacist what the pill is. They wont charge you anything and many many pills look very similar. It is dangerous to identify a pill without actually seeing it and even then identification should be done by a pharmacist.
  • It's a pity you have not written about the number on the other side of the pill. Or is there no number? I know two different oblong white Mylan pills. Mylan 451 is really Naproxen (500mg). http://mylanpills.freehostia.com/mylan-451-pills.htm But there is also Mylan 1155. And this pill is Darvocet-N 100. http://mylanpills.freehostia.com/mylan-1155.htm
