  • Go see a doctor.
  • Are you an alcoholic? Alcoholics get something called delirium tremens, or the "DTs" you shake alot when you get them. Aerosmith sang about them. Martin's right though, go see a doctor.
  • You need to see a doctor there is no way that anyone here could tell you why this is happening . You need a complete check up.
  • Are you a runner Sunny?? I have heard of muscle spasm shakes if you are over exercising, but I really think you should look into a second opinion .
  • You should find a doctor who will listen to your symptoms and concerns and not just prescribe meds that are giving you an adverse reaction. What tests were done? If you are underage speak to your mother again and explain to her in detail how you feel and tell her you want to see another doctor. You need to have a complete work up and physical, and most of all you need a physician you can speak to openly and have a relationship of mutual trust. Only YOU know how you feel and what you are experiencing so don't give up! Good luck to you.
  • 1) It could possibly be caused by some medication. Here some people are posting about Citalopram: "Oh also, when I wake up in the morning I shake uncontrollably for a few minutes and then it stops." Source: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1590/is_8-9_60/ai_112906115/pg_2 3) Theoretically, it could also be caused by late stage alcoholism, but I think you would know: "Many of us felt that all alcoholics are folks who hang out on street corners drinking from brown paper bags, or do not hold jobs, or shake uncontrollably in the morning until they drink, etc, etc. Alcoholism can indeed progress to those degrees, but certainly those are not reliable indicators." Source: http://alcoholism.about.com/library/blajudicate.htm 4) Other possible causes: Anxiety: "But her panic attacks can set in at any time. You can see it happening in English class when her legs begin to shake uncontrollably. "I'm always, like, constantly moving my legs," Lindsay said. "I don't even know if it's like a nervous habit."" http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Health/story?id=1984398&page=1 "Confusion squeezed my mind tighter and tighter, like a painful, over-powering handshake. Panic gripped my nervous system and I began to shake uncontrollably." http://www.rickyost.com/stripes.htm 5) I saw in your comments that you don't seem to trust your doctor. I can understand this very well. However, if there are some other doctors in the surroundings, you could try to see another doctor. Or some other health professional.
