Have you ever taken a break from AB? How many points had you built up (from old questions and responses) when you came back?

I did for a few months, but then I started to miss some people on here!

Yes, I got over the fear of being bullied and insulted when I gave an answer or made a comment that a certain person (a veteran AB-er) didn't like. I don't remember who it was, but it hasn't happened since I came back.

Yes I have taken leave twice, first time because I was being hassled in a rather nasty way at a time I was emotionally very fragile. The second time I was just bored. At the moment I have cut down my participation because I am not keen on the waythings are going on the site it has changed too much. Everything now seems geered towards newcomers and just a few special members. A lot of us feel the same way. I return because there are still a lot of people on AB that I consider friends and I like to be among them and feel their kindness and warmth and if I can help a little with some of my drivel.
