  • Yup, manager of the family owned business
  • No actually. For one thing, I never ever dreamed I would ever be living in New York State. I never even knew there were so many almost wild, rural areas in this state. I thought maybe Alaska, Idaho, or I'd love to move to the Yukon, my favorite place on earth. But never NY! Being married to a wonderful guy who is my everything I did see in my future. The living in a log home was a secret wish more than a reality not yet reached. And here I am, living in upstate New York in a log home, we've built with our own hands, each log, each room, and I'm so proud of us:-)
  • I grew up in Western New York. I never would have dreamed that I'd be stuck in this jungle called Florida. It is great in the winter time though.
  • No. I have changed a lot. But then again, I'm still growing up.
  • haha...no way. I have high expectations of myself and I am still working my way up that ladder.
  • Nope, I actually didn't think I'd live past my teen age years because of some bad choices with ex's.
  • I had no idea of the spcifics, but I knew I would be married and have children. And so I am!
  • Heck no! I didn't think I would make it out of my teens.
  • No, I did not. I participated in a lot of self destructive behavior and got into a lot of mishief. Never did a drug but pot but I did not have much fear of anything and thought I could do whatever I wanted. I am thankful for being here today and past a troubled youth.
  • Not at all....I would have never imagined that a guy would take me all the way across the country from my family, only to sit here and break my heart...
  • When I graduated from high school I had no idea what to do, and I was somewhat scared. My partents were divorced and I did not have much family guidance. I knew if I was going to amount to anything it was up to me to do something! I went back to my high school counselor and asked for advice. I soon found there were a lot of people willing to help me. I did as they said. One most important result of that was that I surrounded myself with quality, hard working people. I graduated from college and went on to graduate school. I have been very successful. It's amazing what my life has been like considering what it was like when I was young. Only in America!!!
  • NO. NO. NO. I never dreamed of this kind of craziness. I never could have fathomed it.
  • I was the bright middle schooler, who became an out of control high schooler. I tried to throw my life away, at the time no one seemed to care anyway. But I managed to pick up the pieces, with the help of friends, and one special man in my life who got me back on track. i haven't reached the goals that i set for myself when i was 10, but I know i can, and someday I will.
  • I never would have thought I'd live where I am or do the work I do.
  • Not at all I never thought I would get myself in the trouble I did and then find a way to fix it all
  • Nope and I dont know anyone who can say that they have travelled the straight, easy and perfect route they set out for themselves. I imagined being a painter or a writer, I fix computers. I imagined being somewhere hot and luxurious, I live in England, and I imagined I would marry prince charming, Im not married to him yet. But I have more out of life than I could have ever have hoped for as a child. I have my son, some wonderful friends, my family and the ability to relax and not worry too much about what life throws at me.
  • no this is not where I thought I would be when I grew up
  • No, not at all..surprise :)
  • absolutely not! I did exactly what I thought I would do for ten years then got sick of it.
  • at the age of 10, i knew what i wanted to do and i set out to accomplish the goals needed to arrive here. the only thing today lacking from my fantasy from 10 is that i've not accumulated $100 million, just off by $99,999,000 (used computer and car).
  • hell no!!!
  • I was pleasantly surprised
  • No, I had no idea at that moment.
  • What the glamorous world of being divorced, raising 2 kids and drowning in debt? LOL I did how ever always want to be a nurse...and here I am! I have even met my Prince Charming now. While I may not be exactly where I thought I would be...I am grateful for everything I have now
  • Yes,I did.It took awhile though, but it was worth the wait and I love what I do.
  • Nah. I thought I would always be the akward, shy, irritating person I was. I am sooo happy with the person I am now. =)
  • Yes and no. I could not have guessed the location where I would be living, but the type of home is not far off. I am working in the field where I imagined myself, though not exactly as I imagined it. I wrote a book like I've always wanted, I have a cat like I always wanted, but the rest has been surprises.
  • No. I guess I was so busy just trying to "be", I never thought beyond the day.
