If I built a snowman at the North Pole, would it ever melt?

    Probably not melt, technically, but it would evaporate. I imagine sunlight would speed this process, but even in the dark confines of your freezer, an ice cube (or a snowball) evaporates. Try it for yourself!

    Yes, nothing lasts forever. the wind, evaporation, and the sun would all play havoc on mr. snowman. even though the temperatures are freezing and sub-freezing, time would eventually take its toll on frosty the snowman. sorry.

    Yes. Long cold winters and short cool summers. Above freezing and frosty the snowman has a melt down.
