The father of my daughter was given supervised visits for 6 months out the 26 visits he has missed 11, 5 of them he just didn't show, no call. Mediation is coming up, will that look bad on his part, and should i ask for 6 more months of supervised visits

Hello again. This is similar to your other question, with the same answer. YES! ask for more supervision. Supervised visits are supposed to provide a safe atmosphere for the child and parent to bond. It is also to show the court that the parent who is being supervised can be responsible. As YOU know, being a parent requires dedication and sacrifice. The father must have done something wrong for the court to order supervision. It is his job to prove that he can be a responsible parent, missing allmost half of his visits shows that he hasn't got there yet. Your job is to protect your little girl from harm. both physical and emotional. -
