Where are the spark plugs on a 1998 Ford F150 with a 5.4L V8, and how do I access them?

    Look on top of the engine next to the valve covers under the fuel rails and you'll see the coils. There's a 7mm screw holding the coil in place. Take the screw out, unplug and remove the coil(carefully, so you don't pull the boot off the coil) and you can get the plug out with a 5/8 spark plug socket and an extension. You'll have to remove the air induction and top engine cover to access all of them.
